ALARACT Messages

Afghanistan Campaign Medal or Iraq Campaign Medal

BIRTHDAY TRACKER WITH A PERSONALIZED CARD FEATURE (AUTOMATED).  "Welcome and thank you for checking out the automated Birthday Tracker. Keeping up with birthdays should be easy and effortless and that was the direction of this product. I am a big fan of universal products, and this one is programmable to anyone with a name and birthday, extra perks to include UIC and Rank. I've attached an SOP to everyone interested in trying this product out." Developed by the S1 crew of the 25th CAB, contributed by 1LT Kenneth Anderson,  Strength Manager, 25th CAB. https://forums.army.mil/SECURE/CommunityBrowser.aspx?id=1772878&lang=en-US

eKNOWLEDGE DONATES $200 SAT AND ACT TEST PREP PROGRAMS TO MILITARY FAMILIES.  Available to all service members, including members of the Reserves, Active Duty, and their families this offer is made possible because of donations from NFL/MLB players. This program has been extended to military families and veterans for a sixth consecutive year through the eKnowledge Sponsorship Alliance, NFL and MLB players, and over fifty other organizations. Visit the following Military Homefront link for more information.  http://www.militaryhomefront.dod.mil/pls/psgprod/f?p=MHF:DETAIL0:0::::CID:20.20.100.30.0.0.0.0.0

ACM & ICM BRONZE SERVICE STAR CALCULATOR. "Calculates the number of Bronze Service Stars a SM should have based of tour start and end dates. Saves time when verifying record accuracy. All you have to do is enter the tour start and end date and it will determine which campaigns the SM should be credited with. It will only handle one tour date at a time, but there is a space above the campaign phases to keep track of how many BSS they should have during your records check." Contributed by LT John Welch, Brigade Strength Manager, 4IBCT, 4ID. https://forums.army.mil/SECURE/CommunityBrowser.aspx?id=1760834&lang=en-US

I AM LOOKING FOR AN ERB UPDATE REQUEST FORM. "What do you use in your office to keep the simple updates time efficient? Do you have every single SM with an update come in for a sit down, or do you have them collect all the source documents and pen/highlight the changes needed and drop them off to the office? Let me and the rest of the S1NET world know what you have found works the best."  https://forums.army.mil/communitybrowser.aspx?id=1760563&&lang=en-US

ALC COMMON CORE ENROLLMENT INSTRUCTIONS. HRC Military Schools Branch receives numerous inquiries on how to sign up for ALC Common Core.  Instructions are provided via AKO when Soldiers are enrolled in ATRRS. ANNUAL LEAVE CARRYOVER/SPECIAL LEAVE ACCRUAL LIMITS. From HRC TAG-D Soldier Programs and Services:  Unless annual leave accrual carryover is extended in the next National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), limits will remain as currently published Department of the Army Personnel Policy Guidance for Overseas Contingency Operations (the PPG). IAW Section 8-10a, annual leave accrual carryover is temporarily increased (until 30 Sep 13), from 60 days to 75 days. Soldiers may carry over up to 75 days of annual leave into FY 2013. Any leave accumulated in excess of 75 days is lost at the end of the FY unless it was accumulated when entitled to Special Leave Accrual (SLA). IAW Section 8-10c, SLA carryover is also temporarily increased (until 30 Sep 13), from 90 days to 120 days.  Visit the following link for more information. https://forums.army.mil/SECURE/CommunityBrowser.aspx?id=1726739&lang=en-US
PRINTING THE NEW SUSPENSION OF FAVORABLE PERSONNEL ACTIONS (SFPA) LISTING ON A SINGLE PAGE.  The addition of the new Drug Abuse and Alcohol Abuse Adverse Action flags resulted in the DA Form 268 printing on two pages for some eMILPO users. HRC Field Systems Division developed the attached (at below link) instructional guidance to allow single page printing of the DA Form 268 from the eMILPO SFPA functional application. https://forums.army.mil/communitybrowser.aspx?id=1719170&lang=en-US
